In short
Post Desk connects your Canva account to the social media service your team uses, so you can edit a post's photo in Canva and bring it back. It uses your Canva account only for the designs it creates for you. It doesn't sell your information, show ads or track you.
What Post Desk uses
- Your Canva connection: the access granted when you connect, your Canva account's ID and its display name, so the service can show which account is connected.
- What it puts in your Canva: the post's photo, the brand's logos and a card of its colors, and a design made from the photo.
- What it brings back: the finished design, exported as an image when you press Return, which becomes the post's new version.
Post Desk doesn't read, change or export any other design in your Canva account.
Where it's kept
Your Canva connection and the designs you bring back are kept by the social media service your team uses, not by a separate Post Desk service. The connection is stored encrypted and is deleted when you disconnect, or when you're removed from that service.
When you come back from Canva, you pass through post-desk.app on your way to your team's service. It forwards you and stores nothing about you or your design. Like any website, it's served by a hosting provider that keeps short-lived technical logs.
The files Post Desk uploads stay in your Canva account until you delete them.
Who's responsible
The social media service your team uses decides how its own records are kept, and its privacy notice applies to them. For questions about your account there, ask that service. For questions about Post Desk, email support@post-desk.app.
Changes
